How much does Service Reminder Plus cost?
The price for licensing Service Reminder Plus is a one-time payment of £67.00.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment by cheque made payable to Yo6 Computing. Our postal address can be found on our contact us page.
When paying, please ensure that you enclose your address and telephone number so that we may issue your invoice and license key. [top]
If I try Service Reminder Plus free for 30-days, am I obliged to purchase it?
No. The reason we offer a free trial is so that you can make your own mind up as to whether the software will be of use to you. If, after trying it for a while, you decide that it's not your cup of tea then just un-install it in the usual manner (click here for video). [top]
How do I obtain a license key?
Please send a cheque for the the purchase price made payable to Yo6 Computing. Our address can be found on the contact us page.
Once your funds have cleared our bank account, we'll issue an invoice and telephone you to give you your license key. [top]
Are there any on-going technical support charges?
No. Life-time telephone support is included in the one-off purchase price.
However, it should be pointed out that very occasionally we get asked to repair a corrupt data file. This is only nessecary when the user has neglected to make frequent backups of the data files. If we are asked to do this or any other type of hands-on work, this is charged at our normal houly rate, currently £50.00 per hour pro rata. [top]
What hardware/software will I need to use Service Reminder Plus?
- IBM or compatible PC running Windows XP Home or Professional.
- 512 MB RAM (1024 MB recommended).
- Sound card and speakers or headphones (for listening to the videos).
- 128 MB or more of free hard disk space.
- Some form of removable drive for storing backup files.
- Graphics card and colour monitor capable of supporting at least 1024 X 768 screen resolution (1280 X 1024 recommended).
- Inkjet or Laser printer for printing reports (colour recommended).
- Up-to-date virus and spy-ware scanning/removal software (Trend Micro Internet Security and No Adware recommended). [top]
Will I need to be a computer whizz kid in order to use Service Reminder Plus?
Most certainly not. The best way to judge if using the software is within your capabilities is to, first, watch the training videos and then download and install the trial version to your computer. Don't forget that you have 30 days to decide whether or not Service Reminder Plus is for you. [top]
Does Service Reminder Plus come with any form of warranty?

Can Service Reminder Plus be used on a network?
No. Currently Service Reminder Plus will only operate on a single PC. However, should demand dictate a need for a networkable version then one will be released in due course. [top]
If I try the software free for 30 days, will I lose any data I have entered when I register it?
Your data will not be affected by the registration process. All that entering the license key does is to remove the maximum customer restriction.
If you wish to "play" with the software by entering some dummy data prior to commiting yourself, then we advise that, once you have entered your company details, take a backup of the data file (see video). Then, when you have become comfortable with using Service Reminder Plus, simply restore from the previosly mentioned backup and the play data will be overwritten. [top]
All I'm looking for is a way to create service reminders. Will Service Reminder Plus still work if I ignore the History Section?
Yes it will. All you have to do is enter a Customer's name and address etc. along with the Appliance name and the date its next service is due. You may then print out your service reminders in the normal way.
Obviously, you'll have to update the "next service" dates so that, in future years, you'll be able to print out subsequent reminders. [top]
